Handmade Leather Keychain or bookmark- custom carved and painted pet portrait

Have your very own pet’s portrait, hand carved, embossed and painted on to a leather keychain!

Send me your pet’s photo on Etsy messages and I’ll design your very own pet character- carve, emboss and paint it on to some natural vegetable tanned leather. I’ll then hand stitch around the edges with the best Ritza Tiger thread in a gorgeous amber colour(Let me know if you have a special request!) and finish it off with a keyring. Furthermore, the edges of this piece will be burnished to a gloss!

I also offer simple Initial embossing.

I have done my utmost to make the keychain as secure as possible. Nevertheless, please handle with care an do not get it wet or dirty- it is not a waterproof item. General leather care and gentle use will prolong the life of this handcrafted piece. Do apply leather balm every few months to keep the leather supple and to avoid cracking.
